Would you like to learn more about The Graduate School at UNCG? Are you interested in a campus tour? Perhaps a UNCG Graduate School Open House is for you!
On selected afternoons during the Fall and Spring semesters, we will be holding Graduate School Open Houses for prospective students (generally those who have not yet applied to The Graduate School) wanting to learn more about graduate education at UNCG.
Each on campus event requires an RSVP and is limited to the first 25 people to register. Please note that you are NOT registered for this event until you receive a confirmation email from The Graduate School.

Each Open House will include a session with the Assistant Dean of The Graduate School about many topics including the History of UNCG, our programs, building a better application, and more! Each on campus Open House will also include a tour of UNCG’s beautiful campus!
Please note: Open Houses will NOT include meeting with representatives from academic departments. If you are interested in meeting with an academic department, please contact the academic department directly to set up a meeting before or after the Open House event. Reservations are REQUIRED for on campus Open House events and are limited to the first 25 individuals to RSVP. If you RSVP for a date and are later unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
Directions and location for on campus events will be sent to you within one week as confirmation of your RSVP. This will come from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are not one of the first 25 to RSVP for an on campus event, you will be contacted with further information on other available dates or wait list options. See registration section below for more information on submitting your RSVP.
On Campus Open House Events:
To register for an on campus Open House event fill out the RSVP form. *Note: Do NOT choose the same date for your first, second, and third choice Open House dates. This may result in a delay in processing your request and thus a loss of seat in one of the events.
You will be sent an email from The Graduate School within 7 business days either confirming your RSVP or suggesting alternate dates if your choices are full. Again, you are NOT registered to attend an on campus Open House until you receive the confirmation email from The Graduate School.
Online Open House Events
The online Open House events are not limited in the number of individuals who may participate.
Individuals may register to join a chat by visiting groupchat02.askadmissions.net/01/landingpage.aspx?clientName=uncggrad to create an account. This account may be created at any time prior to chat event. Once an account is created, individuals may log in to the chat approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time by using that same page.

(The Open House Sessions differ from the Graduate School Information Sessions) in these important ways: The Information Session is not limited in number, whereas each Open House is more intimate and limited to 25 registrants. The Information Session does not include a campus tour, whereas each Open House does. The Information Session includes a potential meeting with a representative from an academic department, whereas an Open House does not.)
