Each month, ProQuest, which houses the world’s largest collection of dissertations and theses, publishes a list of the Top 25 most downloaded theses and dissertations. Two UNCG graduates from the Department of Consumer, Apparel, and Retails Studies have the honor of appearing on these lists.

In the thesis category, Sasikarn Chatvijit Cook, recently held the #16 most downloaded thesis. The title of her 2012 Masters thesis is: Exploring the effects of scarcity, impulse buying, and product returning behavior in the fast fashion environment among female fashion conscious consumers. It is available here on the ProQuest website.
Additionally, Chatvijit Cook completed a Ph.D in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies here at UNCG in August 2017.

In the dissertation category, Yonghai Hou, recently held the #20 ranking for most downloaded dissertation. Hou’s 2005 dissertation is titled: Service quality of online apparel retailers and its impact on customer satisfaction, customer trust and customer loyalty. It is available here on the ProQuest website. Hou has UNCG’s most popular dissertation through ProQuest with 1,660 views.
